Big Change in Criminal Procedure for MS Criminal Defense Attorneys

The MS Supreme Court on December 15th announced the adoption of a new set of MS Rules of Criminal Procedure, which will apply to all Justice, Municipal, County and Circuit Courts. The new rules go into effect July 1, 2017. Here’s a link to the rules: https://courts.ms.gov/

Big Win in Wisconsin the fight against tort reform and caps on damages

“A Wisconsin appeals court ruled Wednesday that the state’s $750,000 cap on medical malpractice damages is unconstitutional because it imposes an unequal disadvantage for catastrophically injured patients.” http://www.courthousenews.com/wisconsin-court-tosses-cap-medical-malpractice-damages/
